Those of us with big feet (I'm a US 13) know that toe and heel drag is a big issue, especially if you want to lay out your carves.
How does an ultrawide compare?
Finding a big board is tough. Most manufacturers don't make ultrawide boards, and those that do bury the boards in their lineup.
This website is a list of the widest snowboards for the 2021-2022 season that fits the ultrawide criteria. Since almost every board comes in multiple sizes, I'm only listing the widest and longest variant. You'd never ride anything smaller, right?
If you're not 6'2" with a size 13 foot or larger this site is not for you. You'll do fine with a regular sized board.
Some people like to overcome a narrow board by widening their stance, angling their feet more, getting risers, getting smaller boots, or just ignoring it. Those don't work for me, and they hurt. Shouldn't big guys have an opportunity to ride big boards and get that extra wide snowboard feel?

The big news is that we've found many more indy and non-US brands. Especially for our EU and Asia-Pacific riders be sure to check out all the options, and more are arriving daily. For North American riders not too much has changed: most brands have kept their lineups from previous years.
A few brands are very slow with updating their website. We'll add them once the 2021-2022 lineup is announced.
Most brands hide their ultrawide snowboards, but a few have dedicated marketing for what they consider wide (note that some of them are in the 26cm range): Never Summer DF series, Lib Tech ultra-wide, Jones Big Horn Series, LTB XW and XXW.
To qualify as an ultrawide, a board must:

Due to supply chain issues Never Summer has cut the Westbound and Heritage boards from their lineup this year. Some additional models may have DF versions added in January 2022, please contact Never Summer to be added to a mailing list for announcements.

Gilson has a bunch of boards that seem to be almost all identical except for profile and graphics. Only the Undead is included here as a representative example. Check out their lineup for more info.
On their website the 150cm is the only Airtime size, but their splitboard version has a 160 with 28.1cm waist. Maybe in the future they'll release the solid wide version.
Stompede Snowboards doesn't make any ultrawide boards (their largest is 27.2 cm).
The Yes 420 Unic. JPS is 28.6cm (one of the widest available!), but the extreme shortness makes it unsuitable for larger riders.
Yes Snowboard doesn't make any ultrawide boards (their largest is 26.8 cm).
Spline has a standard lineup, but starting at $2000CAD they'll make a custom board for your. Their standard lineup maxes out at 26.1cm waist width.
